1 AGV, 3 cities in 3 days

Three cities. Three different companies. And one AGV was installed at each location—three days in a row—all to demonstrate how easy it is to go from start to complete installation.

Much simpler than expected

Global AGV has just completed its Roadshow 2023. In just one afternoon, the AGV was installed in a standard production flow, three days in a row, at three different companies. The efficiency and user-friendly software impressed the attendees of the roadshow.

"Normally, it requires a large setup with technicians from far away. It is much simpler than what we are used to. I think we can handle this ourselves," 

says Carsten Holmslykke, Production Technologist from Skylight A/S.

Impressing industry professionals

The roadshow made stops at Dan Palletiser, Robot Nordic, and RoboTool. Industry professionals were also surprised at how far one can go with an AGV installation in just one afternoon.

"It was amazing how quickly the AGV could get installed and how efficient it was after just a few hours. It is clear that Global AGV is changing the game regarding automation solutions." 

says Simon Rune Sørensen, Director at Dan Palletiser.

3 simple steps

Although the AGV was demonstrated in a simple production flow, it is not far from reality. When Global AGV is installed at a customer, it typically only takes a week.

"Roughly speaking, our installation only requires three simple steps:

1: Scan the surroundings

2: Create a route

3: Give orders - and press start."

explains Kim Rimer Andersen, Product Manager at Global AGV.

"Employees should be able to navigate the AGV themselves, change routes, and give the AGV tasks.”
